The organization consists of a number of board communities, primarily chairs and lead directors of the board and chairs of key committees. All groups are invited to participate in monthly virtual and in-person events.
The first community, Madam Chair, was founded in 2021. It has built upon its achievements each year to grow its membership, continually attract phenomenal speakers, and hold exclusive in-person events.

Chairs & Leads is the umbrella organization which consists of all the communities as well as 150+ male Chairs and Lead Directors of publicly-traded companies.
Madam Chair is a collaborative group of 300+ female Chairs and Lead Directors of publicly-traded companies across all industries and market capitalizations.
NomGov Chairs is a group of 150+ top publicly-traded company Nominating and Governance Committee Chairs across genders.
Comp Chairs is a group of 150+ top publicly-traded company Compensation Committee Chairs across genders.
Audit Chairs is a group of 250+ top publicly-traded company Audit Committee Chairs across genders.
Legal Leaders is a group of 100+ top publicly-traded company Chief Legal Officers and General Counsels who serve in the Corporate Secretary capacity and play an integral role in their company’s board work.
People Leaders is a group of 100+ top publicly-traded company people leaders who are (or who aspire to be) on corporate boards. For companies who believe "people are our greatest asset," these leaders bring this expertise to the boardroom.
Board opportunities, resources, and event invitations are often shared across groups. Members also connect with each other across communities.
